Winter Cowboy is here

Winter Cowboy is now out wide on Amazon, Google Play, and Smashwords
(with more retailers including Kobo Plus to come)

If you’ve read my Ukraine charity novella Cowboy Dreams you might remember Frankie, a young man rejected by his father and on the run, and the truck Joe gave him.

Now 18-year-old Frankie’s in the Sierra Nevada foothills, out of gas, out of money, and mostly out of luck. He’s free to be openly gay, free to use his middle name, Austin, instead of Frank Morse, Jr. (Added bonus that his father hated that middle name.) Free to be a cowboy, not a cop. Except in November, the ranches aren’t hiring, and he’s stuck in the boonies where there are no jobs. He’s struggling to keep his head above water, and only the kindness of strangers – especially one older cowboy – may let him survive. If he can humble himself enough to take charity.

Winter Cowboy would stand alone as a solo novel, but the epilogues have spoilers for Cowboy Dreams. (And give you a tiny look at Joe and Sylvester, too.)
